WHAT WE DO

What Youth & Government looks like here.

Mock trial is a competitive club where students take on the roles of attorneys and witnesses to argue a fictional court case. Here's how the club is structured at Allen.

01 / 04

Role-based preparation

Members train as either attorneys or witnesses, learning how to examine, cross-examine, and present a case in a courtroom setting.

02 / 04

Consistent practice

Two practices a week — every Monday and Thursday, 3:30–5:00 in Room 115 — so the team stays sharp throughout the season.

03 / 04

Open to everyone

No debate background or prior experience needed. The club is open to all grades, and new members learn alongside returning veterans.

04 / 04

Competitive season

The team competes in one tournament and two additional competitions each year across the DFW region.
